Roy Slater

Roy Slater, founder of Hathaway Real Estate Services, is a seasoned mortgage broker, real estate broker and auctioneer in the California and Central Virginia real estate markets. In addition, he is also one of the founders of Double Dash Web inc. (www.realtiva.com), a real estate industry SAS software developer, website design, and internet marketing firm.

Formerly Mr. Slater was a loan officer at GMAC- Ditech.com and sales manager at LendingTree.com. Roy has personally originated and funded over 1500 home loans as an originator and managed 1000’s more as a mortgage manager.

Mr. Slater currently holds a real estate brokers license in California and Virginia.  He also holds mortgage broker licenses in CA and FL.  Lastly, he also holds an auctioneers license in the state of Virginia which is reciprocal with more than a dozen other states.
